Flipping channels, I stumbled on a televised Nebraska versus Vandy bowling game. I had no idea such competition existed, and despite my love for sports, i wonder if this only exists because of the Tiltle XXX follies. From the program, it seems athletic talent and build surely take a different dimension.

I realize that some will point out that bowling is a real sport and not a glorified recreational activity, but then plenty of other activities could be added. Or perhaps there are plenty of sports that have become NCAA but flown below the radar.

Are there others NCAA that push the envelope beyond the obvious? Rodeo? Curling? Korfball? Iron tossing?

PS Maryland Eastern Shore is the bowling superpower.
