So I am applying to NCSSM from CD #2 (and I don’t know how selective that is if anyone else knows), and I am trying to figure out what they look for in a student. The classes I’ve taken/am taking next semester so far include:
Honors Biology, Honors Earth Environmental, Honors Chemistry, Honors Math 1-3 (Algebra/Trig/Geometry), Intro To Engineering, Theatre Arts, Health Science 1+2, PE, Honors English 1+2, Honors World History, Honors Civics & Economics, AP Psychology
I am a part of Key Club, president of Debate Club, HOSA competitor/member, partook in robotics club and science olympiad and middle school, used to be a part of Do Something, work crew for school plays, and I am a member of my school’s GSA.
I know that this school is extremely selective, but I am trying extremely hard to get in. I was able to get accepted into the IB program, but I denied it due to it being in such a poor school. If I can get into IB, do I have a shot here? Help???
(PS if you would be willing to talk to me one-on-one about your personal experience, i would greatly appreciate that!)
