@iceesky I usually read lots of science fiction and fantasy, but I decided to read TFIOS partly b/c I didn’t know what it was about before I started and JOHN GREEN wrote it. He’s perf. But then I read it and it was amazing. I just want a real life Augustus to be my boyfriend.

<p>@IceeSky I just read this article about the upcoming movie, and Woodley says, “It’s a love story about two kids with cancer but it’s not about cancer.” Of course TFIOS will be a bit of a downer (it involves CANCER), but it’s also a very inspiring and thoughtful book. And naturally, John Green never fails to kick in some humor. It’s a very well-balanced book with many different elements; it doesn’t just linger on the depressing stuff. I think you might enjoy it very much. :)</p>

<p>@IceeSky At least try it! I’m not really into things like Nicholas Sparks, I much prefer the Mortal Instruments or things of that nature, but John Green is something else. Also, An Abundance of Katherines has a lot of math references that makes me happy! Definitely at least try it out because it is written by a fellow nerd, John Green.
