<p>Hi everyone! I’ve been following this forum off and on (Being a creep, obviously) and finally decided to comment on it. You guys are all super smart, by the way, and I hope you all get in!
This is going to come off as really STUPID, but I though we find out on April 4th? Summer Ventures is on April 4th, and for some reason, I remember them saying April 4th during Discovery day. 
Don’t judge me, I’ve just been slightly LESS happier than you all, because I’ve been thinking we have another extra day.

@arnavg544 I seriously jumped a bit when I read through this forum and figured out it was April 3rd (which I’m guessing it probably is). That made my day :)</p>
<p>@flamencoangel I have a course scheduling conference on Friday that all the students had to have. So if I find out I get in Thursday night, I will be able to cancel, and will be SO HAPPY!!! On a side note, if I don’t get in, I’m gonna be really really sad at my conference Friday. So when you said April 4th I almost jumped for a sec haha.</p>
<p>Gosh, I wish. We had to pick all of our classes earlier this month. It was so stupid, because I actually had to care. If I found out then that I got in, I wouldn’t have had a TON of stress about picking classes. Grr. Then again, like you said, it would’ve been sad to pick classes knowing I didn’t get in. So many internal conflicts.</p>

<p>Speaking of French, I can’t take French 4 next year in my home school because it doesn’t work with my schedule, which I’m really really bummed about. Another reason I’m hoping to get in: They’ll require us to take a language, and I can continue French! :)</p>
<p>@arnavg544 Don’t worry, I go to bed super early too. I’ve been loaded with school work and have been up 'til like 11:30. Then, I’ll walk into school and people will be like “I went to be sooooo early last night. You know like 11:45.” I’m just like -_-.

@flamencoangel My school only offers Spanish 1&2. That is it. Its terrible.
We were supposed to schedule our classes before Spring Break, but our liaison to the college told us to wait until after Spring Break. I hope we don’t have to schedule our classes until afterwards. We have a class meeting at school on April 3rd, at 6:30. I hope we know before then too.<br>

One thing Ilove about my current school is our language department, especially french. We have 2 teachers and both are really good

<p>@trashboat Someone was asking about German on our Discovery Day tour. Our tour guide said you could take it online or do an independent study. & I think they said you just had to master an intermediate level of the language and you could test out if you wanted to.

<p>@WhiteRabbit98 @trashboat If you pass the placement test, I don’t think you have the take a language? I know two years of language means different things at different schools… I’ve taken up to Spanish 3 at my school and basically it only covered what is in Spanish 1 and a little bit of Spanish 2 at other schools because they changed up the curriculum. </p>
<p>I didn’t do all that bad at the math competition today… made it to states (at NCSSM isn’t it?)</p>
<p>I’m finishing up Spanish 2 (I took Sp1 in 8th grade at my Charter School and am taking Sp2 now because my school just started offering it). We’ve finished all tenses and all types of verbs (past, present, present progressive, future, reflexive,etc.) We have to read and be able to understand passages on our tests in order to answer questions. I have no idea where that puts me, but I want to further continue, and eventually master my language. I want to keep taking Spanish at NCSSM, and maybe, if I finish Spanish, take Latin or French. </p>

<p>I think they mean April the 3rd, just a typo. Think about it, will they really send out selection info on a weekend? It might be a boarding school but that doesn’t mean they work/have class/teachers have to be on campus on Saturdays. @willsister1 </p>
<p>That being said, even though it will be on April 3rd, they have a tendency to be farther delayed than 5:00 PM (even 9pm at times), so we need to be patient!</p>
