<p>Hey, does anyone know how favorable Chapel Hill looks at applicants that were dual-enrolled in the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Online program?</p>
<p>I’d imagine it’s a bit more coursework, a bit favorable… Really, though, I feel like if you’re doing that thing, then you’re the kind of student that will get in anyway.</p>
<p>I was originally in NCSSMO taking AP Physics. After 2 weeks of many, many, many late nights and family fights over the amount of work, I decided to drop it. I am a social studies nerd and had originally taken NCSSMO to look impressive for colleges, scholarships, etc. My deciding factor to drop was when an admission’s officer told me that an AP is an AP course. They didn’t care if it was taken through NCSSMO, my school, or NCVPS. NCSSMO just wasn’t worth the headache for me.</p>
