Need a little advice on applying to art schools

I'm in the middle of applying to about 4 schools for fall but I'm just really nervous and idk if I'm just wasting my time or not.

I attended a technical high school for web & computer design but soon after high school I realized a career in that wasn't really what I wanted so I did community college for about a year and a half, I took piano the second year for only a semester but then I stopped because it was just not doing it for me.

Last year was the year I took off and I found I really love art and creating things and fashion in general. I put together pieces of my own through photoshop.

Here's one of them:

I mean & this is one I did last year
Just to show you an example of how I pull together what I envision through photoshop.
I'm really aiming for Parsons but I know it's a long shot
My portfolio would really only consist of creations I've done in photoshop and I'm reallu nervous about applying at all.
I could use some information from those who apply to schools or if someone here is a student.

Thanks alot.

Instead of applying to art schools for your fashion/art why not take some more general courses that would help you make a business of it? Business classes, web design (which I assume you’ve done), sewing classes, community college art? You could try your hand at it and see if you really like doing it long term with limited expense. Art school is VERY expensive and you definitely don’t want to be saddled with high debt.
