Need advice about a minimum GPA to be accepted at Engineering programs At UCB

I am just curious, what is the minimum GPA to be accepted at Engineering programs at UCB? (for transfer student)

How about for Chemical Engineering? Chemical Engineering at UCB is under College of Chemistry, would that make Chemical Engineering easier to get in than any other engineering programs?

I know it's kinda hard to answer this, but just give me the estimations!
I bet your estimations will be useful for other readers too.

Thanks

Chemical Engineering Acceptance Rate: 20%
The avg. acceptance rate of College of Engineering: 23%

There are three types of Chemical Engineering Program:

Chemical Engineering (23%)
Chemical Engineering/Materials (58%)
Chemical Engineering/Nuclear Engineering (58%)

So I'd say the difficulty level is about the same in terms of its admission.
I'd aim for above 3.6 for a decent chance.
The absolute cut-off minimum GPA line for ALL UCs is a 2.4

I say around 3.7-3.8 since ucla's average gpa for engineer majors are 3.7-3.8. Aim above a 3.8 to be safe.

Ok thanks alot.

my friend will have about 3.6 GPA my the end of spring 2006.
I hope it will be enough.
