Need help choosing a college

So I’ve almost received all of my college decisions and I would like some input to help me narrow down my choices.

Accepted:
Cornell (Computer Science- College of Letters and Sciences)- haven’t received financial aid yet
UC Davis (Computer Science - College of Arts and Sciences)
UC San Diego (Political Science - Earl Warren College) I wanted to be a CS major but was accepted to my alt. major.
San Jose State (CS)

Waitlisted:
Cal Poly SLO (CS)

Denied:
UCLA (CS)

Unknown:
UC Berkeley (I am hoping for the best but not very confident) (CS in the College of Arts and Sciences)
Kenyon, Carleton, and Columbia (I most definitely will not get into Columbia and am not too bothered about Kenyon and Carleton)
UC Irvine (CS)

Thanks for any response!

All things being equal, if the FA works out, Cornell is the best of the lot in terms of quality of education and reputation. Otherwise, the UC’s – assuming that you’re in state – are a great option, although I’d give some serious thought about going for your second choice major if your first is an impacted field and if that’s really what you want to study.

If Cornell is affordable, it’s a great program. Had you run the NPC to know what to expect?
If not affordable, posters will sift through those excellent acceptances you got
Good luck for the others!

no brainer cornell - how is that possible this year that so many students rejected by cal poly

Can’t go wrong with an Ivy
