Need help deciding on if i shoud transfer and where!

I currently go to an "expensive" small private college, second semester freshman where I commute 40 minutes one way to the school (unable to afford living in the dorms). I am unhappy at this school as it's very hard to have any social life, especially since most of my classes have 30+ year olds in them. I am thinking about transferring to a community college for a year or two then going to a bigger public university and live on campus for my last two years of college. But I am majoring in BBA Sport Management and I am unable to find other schools with a BBA in sport management. I have found schools though with BA/BS in Sport Management though, not sure if their is much of a difference between a BS or BA and BBA. Should I stay the next few years where I am now even if it means that I will not be happy just to receive the degree I want?

Also if you have any suggestion on colleges with the program that have a similar major would be great. If it helps any I live in Michigan, my dream school is the University of Michigan not sure if I will be able to transfer to it though. I currently have a 3.0 GPA because of 2 classes I did poorly in and I would retake at a community college. Not sure if my GPA would transfer colleges or just the credits, but I can count on receiving somewhere between a 3.6 and 3.8 GPA while at the community college if I Transfer

As for your first question I would sat that it depends on what is more important to you: either having a thriving social life, or obtaining a BBA in Sports Management.

Which college do you currently attend? Does the University of Michigan offer a BBA in Sports Management?

-say

Sorry small keyboard that I am not used to.

Print out the graduation requirements for the BBA Sports Management that you are currently enrolled in, and the BA/BS programs that you have been looking at. That way you can compare the specific requirements side-by-side. Chances are that the programs are not that different, just the name of the degree.
