Is there a website like khanacademy for Thermodynamics? I have a feeling that I'm going to be needing help alot

It’s called a textbook.

In all honesty, thermo isn’t too bad, just a matter of knowing how and when to use the equations.

Google some pdfs / lecture notes for thermodynamics?

in addition, google the topics you don’t understand. i can often get good results from just googling…

i don’t know. i haven’t taken thermo myself (in the spring…)

for some reason jwxie, I thought you were alot older (random)

Thanks for that. Im just having trouble on this one question thats driving me insane

Try asking your TA or professor. I know a handful of the thermo books I’ve had were filled with minor typos which can be the death of a student when trying to solve a complex derivation. (dU/dT|v and dU/dT|p have a bigger difference than just a letter)

I wish I can give you links to some good lecture pdfs out there. but I haven’t taken thermo myself so I can’t recommend any.

There are MIT and Yale Open Courseware…

Thermo is hard man, i’ve just finished taking thermo for cheme and its hard. Just be prepared to do a lot of iterations by hand, unless you know how to use the quad solver in your graphing calc.
