<p>Hi I have a quick question about the UC application. So I took a political science 1 course during the spring of 2012 and received a D. However I retook the class and got an A during fall 2012. Also, I took a philosophy class during winter semester 2013 and received a D, but I retook the class during the summer of 2013 and received an A. I want to know how do i report these grades on my application. Do I put academic renewal. Or do I just report both grades. The thing is I want to report both grades but at the same time I want them to know that the previous grade is not included in my GPA and the new grade replaced it in my GPA. Please help me out. Thanks.</p>
<p>Usually if you report the same course the UC application will ask you if it’s a repeat of the course, and it’ll take out the previous grade.</p>
