I’m not sure where the company is based. If you are looking for a good return policy though, you are probably better off shopping from one of the big department stores. Good luck on your search! I’m not a huge fan of shopping either so I can relate to the dread.
I’d wait just a little bit and see if Nordstrom gets its stock for spring/summer. It might be a little early, not sure.
I wear a petite and can not wear regular dresses as they fit me wrong. I found that petites were best online at Nordstrom and Macy’s. I think Dillard’s sells petite dresses but I’m not fond on their return policy’s so I stayed away.
I did not find anything at Lord and Taylor or Newman Marcus in petite sizes.
I bought my petite size dress at Lord and Taylor. I was at their now closed flagship…in their small petite department…but they had what I wanted. There were far more petite choices on their website, but I’m not a good online shopper.
They also have a fabulous alterations department!! So if you live near a brick and mortar still open store…try to. You might find something you like that can be altered to fit you perfectly!
I like OPs first dress. The beading makes it special. I would check how we’ll sewed the beading is, as it is on the skirt part. I usually want beading on sequins only on the top.
I am following this thread closely, as I’ll be the MOG in early October. I haven’t shopped at all.
Maybe something like this in charcoal? Also comes in navy but I know you’re supposed to avoid navy. Hope you find one you love!
How about something like this?
or this?
Love this one!
@gclsports Meant to comment that to you- love that style. Very flattering.
I think that floral printed one is adorable but that’s me…I hate fru-fru MOB dresses!!!
How about this one?
If you like velvet, this one is lovely too:
Don’t buy the dress too soon. That was the mistake that I made with my mother of the bride dress last year. Go to the Nordstrom at the Natick Mall in June or July and get someone to help you. You will find something. If not, try the BHLDN store in Chestnut Hill. This is Anthropologie’s bridal shop but they have a lot of mother of the bride / wedding guest dresses.

I really like the first dress the OP posted.
I like the first dress the OP posted as well…and with the right really nice cashmere wrap from Nordstrom, she will be good to go if it’s chilly.
The eggplant is 40% off, the purple/grey is full, price.
I like many of the choices of @soozievt
I also like the one by @gclsports
I know I posted a bunch of dresses in post 33, but here are a few more (and I also like the original dress the OP posted):
