Need Lots of Help

My youngest daughter is going to school this coming fall. We are unsure of where she will be going, but she is thinking either Washington State Univeristy or Eastern Washington University.
I was talking to a friend regarding scholarships. (my other 2 girls never applied) She said it was worth it for her kids.
Is there a place that can help kids with this or where do we start.
I have been reading on here all day....there is alot of information.
My daughters gpa is 3.8, but her SAT was 1300.
She really likes math, but is not clear on a major. Engineering or Actuarial Science or Teaching

Sorry for the questions. We are really late in the game and we know that.

Thanks so much!!!!

The vast majority of good scholarships (covering all four years) are made through the college itself. Look on the web sites of WSU and EWU. The other place to check is with your HS guidance counselor. There are usually local scholarships (county, state) that are available. Those tend to be one year scholarships.

Is her 1300 out of 1600 (math + CR)? Or is her 1300 the total for all 3 sections?

Erin’s Dad is right. Most scholarships are awarded from the school.

Has your D done Running Start?

As for private scholarships, usually your child’s GC will know about the locally offered ones.
