<p>I need help on my college essays. Is this something that could be accomplished with a coach over Skype? Or, should I try to find someone in person to work with? What do you recommend? Pros and cons please ;;) </p>
<p>I think it’s fine if you get support from a coach online. Writing doesn’t need to be taught in person…sometimes google docs and Skype can be even more effective than sitting side by side with an instructor. </p>

<p>Depends on your personality and preferences, but speaking as someone who has professionally coached students on application essays, I feel that some of the most successful coaching sessions occurred online, and my online students seemed to think so too. (I’m not trying to solicit your business. Just honestly think that you should go with whatever feels best for you. Good advice can be given in lots of different formats, and is best received in a format where you feel comfortable and able to do your best work, whatever format that is.)</p>
