So, I just became a senior and it really hit me that I need to start thinking about colleges and my grades. After finishing this year, my accumulated GPA is 2.92. Its not really high so I know some colleges are out of my reach, but my question is would I be able to get into a college with this GPA? I have only did wrestling as a freshman, and currently am a president of my own club! However, I haven't taken any PSAT's or SATs or ACTs. Beginning of next year I will register and get them done, but for now how are my chances lookin? And what ideal score would I need on those tests?

If possible, can you meet with your guid counselor before the school year is out? He/she can give you an outline/timeline for things to do from now until December. Don’t worry about PSAT but instead focus on ACT and/or SAT. Even though you have a 2.92GPA, there are certainly some colleges that would accept you. But please know that none of these will be concerned about your clubs or sports – these schools will solely admit students based on academic potential. Best of luck to you.
