I'm going to take the October SAT and I am hoping to boost my critical reading score from the mid-500's to hopefully around 700. Can anyone give me some pointers and tips on how I can successfully improve on that, particularly on the long reading passages parts? Thanks in advance!

I’d do one for you but I’m using my iPod and it takes too long

I liked the 1000 Most Popular Words from the Sparknotes list for vocab. It was very helpful for my last SAT test.

Reading comprehension is just all about reading books and practicing problems. Do as many passages as you can and also read books for things like character development. Also, make sure to make notes and underline things when taking the test, so you don’t have to waste time to search for important things when asked a question.
