Needs help findng matches

So, I'm starting to apply to colleges but they are mostly reaches/safeties. I need help finding matches with good reputations. (I am applying to William and Mary, JMU, and VCU.)

I would like a medium to large campus with a good science department; I don't really care about the location as much, but I would prefer anywhere except the mid-west.

I have a 3.8W GPA, 30/425 class rank, really good extracurriculars, and an 1800 SAT score (which will approve.)

I would really love some help!

please, don’t tell people your SAT score will improve (which i think is what you’re trying to say)

until you have proof i don’t want to hear about it

Well, I suppose I should say I “hope” they approve, but I am trying t be confident. I am dyslexic and have been taking classes which will help me read faster without as much confusion.

I think that since you keep writing “approve” instead of “improve,” some might question how much your score could improve.

How much will your parents pay each year?

How much is your likely EFC?

Those answers will likely determine where else you should apply.

Can we assume that you’re a Virginia resident?

Tons of people do improve their SAT scores, though. University of South Carolina should be safe with your current scores. I guess these are small campuses, but Ursinus and Juniata in Pennsylvania? University of Delaware and U. Mass. should be matches. U. Conn. a little more of a reach.

Ursinus and Juniata are very small schools, not the medium to large she likes. UDel is much harder to get into than UMass and costs 3 times as much as her VA options

University of Charleston, the honors program, might be a good match. And if you get additional time as part of your accommodation, you might want to try the ACT.
