@swatha look at the threads of previous years. There are more than 2000 students who go to the US every year. There are more than a hundred students going to the University of Texas at Arlington alone. Are you going to add that too? Use your head bro!
@“professor.heisenberg” You really seem to have this problem since last year’s thread. Let me tell you, what you are suggesting is EXCLUSIVITY. What we should strive for is INCLUSIVITY.
Not all acceptance is equal, that’s because everyone is unique on their own. If someone loves where she/he is attending and is happy to share that good news here, no one really NO ONE has the rights to judge that.
And as for what you just told @swatha Well UTA is an accredited 4-year university, and there is no reason for not to include that. And since you gave your explanation that 2000 Nepalese went to UTA, well read the name of the thread, it is ‘Nepal Class of 2023’ And when I started this thread the first thing I posted was “Use this thread for all Nepalese applying in the fall of 2019.” Well look closely at “all Nepalese” and also I don’t see anywhere written that its only for the top ranking acceptance.
We should do is try and make CC more and more accessible for all Nepalese, and try to create a more realistic picture of college acceptance which would incude anywhere from Harvard to UT.
