GC good one. I probably should have used it.
Other nice ones:
Proton initiated Kryptonite Radiation(nice one)
RD, CC, etc..

this is kinda funny, GC not writing a fee waiver. i mean, what the hell does he lose by saving someone else's money? this is plain stupid.. just try to convince him to write one. it doesnt take much time and almost all coll's accept it, so why not write one? besides, the same one can be photocopied and sent to all colls so if he is going to wrtie one for u for RD, why not do the same for ED as well? try to get some sense into ur GC, who seems kinda silly.

this thread is dead....this thread is dead....

First of all, did you get the fin aid form from the colleges??

i went to usef library today (n all this week i thought the usef was closed!!) and looked through a SAT II lit book. it didn't look too difficult. so i'm thinking of taking the SAT II lit too! :)

but do u think it's wise to take a lit test when I know I'm goin into engineering in college? and if i do decide to take the test, I'll be taking it without a single practice test! (i don't have the book and i don't want to be investing in one now.) so i don't even know how well i'll do though I'm sure it won't go horrible.

and backinblue: career... haha

Hey,
You ask for a bank statement, put it in an envelope of the Bank and send it separately. (actually the bank should send the bank statement!)
And, yeah, you send the "Certificate of Finances Form", not the bank statement, in order for the college to issue you an I-20. As far as I have heard, you don't need to send the tax forms, not unless the college states it(I haven't come across one who does for Intels).
And the ISFAA or FFSAA (whatever you like to call them) and the college's Finaid forms are there to be dealt with.
So, lets put a nail on that, shall we? :D

Anyway, aaron56 it would be awesome if you took the test and got anyway over 700 man! It would really tie loose ends! But physics+lit+maths seems a bit daunting, at least for me!

My GC thinks he's incontrovertible, chochu!! I don't know how to get around him. But come to think about it, he is an experienced GC, knows what he's doing, Maybe something instigated him not to write the requests. Anyway, screw it!

Good luck people for your essays, hws, and application fees  !
(P.S. USEF was open all this time? *******!! could've practised Princeton Review Physics! )
Now I am depressed...

the college i'm applyin to says nth abt ISFAA or FFSAA or any additonal forms. it just asks me to fill its own institutional finaid form. is filling tht collegeboard's finaid form s'posed to be sth tht's already understood?

anyway, it's not much use going to USEF. u know how small the room is, and there was NO place to sit! the place was crowded. but maybe it was my mistake goin in late.

well, i'm almost decided on lit now. not much to lose actually since my phy and math scores will be more important. an okay score won't hurt, and a good score can only do good :)
