btw, whats the cost of two subjects? for SAT 2

umm... i think it's $8 per test
+ a basic registration fee of $18

i'm not sure but i know it's sth like tht. there may even be an international processing fee ($20)! it's there for the SAT I, but SAT IIs, i forgot!

it took me 'round 55$ for 2 sat IIs

so it's $8*2 + $18 + $21 hola

anyway, how did you guyz do on the SATs?

i made the stupid mistake of skippin a question and then filling in all the subsequent bubbles a question above... no surprise, i couldn't finish my physics paper! :( and repeated the mistake in my lit paper too! :(

but i did finish my lit paper though i've no idea how i performed!

..diem...the hands of a clock move rather quickly when u sit for ur test, doesn't it?...no wonder, i couldn't complete my subject tests...had to skip 3 questions in maths 1 and 5 or 6 or 7 in maths 2...

carpe diem...

hmm...SATs gone now need to worry abt finals...diem..carpe diem...

whats literature like..k garna parcha

you don't need much prep for lit... u just have to learn literary terms, and be able to do a close reading of the given text

they give you either a poem, a passage or a play. well not just three.. maybe 5 or 6 in total i dunno. and questions follow each...

but the choices can be very confusing.. otherwise it's not very difficult... especially since u've taken the lit&lang class

no writing inolved right? ani literaray terms meaning?

no writing involved.

they won't ask what assonance means, what parallelism means or stuff like tht. but they do ask questions like "what literary device is used in these lines or this poem" and they have the literary terms as choices.

so you gotta know the literary terms.

also questions on tone, mood, voice, and all tht stuff we've already done in class. only the passages and poems are new.

u plannin on takin the SAT II literature?

hamro thread kina sleeping? sabai lai dashin lagyo jasto cha!

i wish!!!!!!

maybe.

anyway, ppl , chocu and basistha help me out..im saying ill pay 4 grand annually and then work as well. How much bank balance dekhauney?

say i show 20 grand? dont those visa ppl like to see that u can afford ur education for all 4 years? but, does this mean colleges wont give as much aid coz i have a 20 grand acc. Well, was jus wondering that bank accounts are supposed to be life savings sorta right and they dont really expect u to completely empty ur pockets to educate ur child.

if ull dont mind, could ull tell ur figures. how much u paying annually and how much bank balance u showed. Help!

another thing, for colleges that have rolling decissions, when do you submit your stuff

hey himalayandreams...dont worry abt that stuff.... show different bank statements for bank and VISA...i did that.... college lai thori dekhaune.... VISA ma dherai dekhaune.... but depends upon which college u r applying to... tanna aid dine college ho bhane atti kam dekhaye ni huncha... alli aid nadine college ho bhane chai decent bank balance huna parcha

rolling decisions colleges accept ur apps anywhere till their deadline pass... deadline nai mentioned chaina bhane chai jaile pathye ni huncha..... but again dherai dhilo bho bhane u cant get in for fall 2006... spring 07 or fall 07 ma pugcha

so 4 grand tirchu bhanyo bahney bankacc katti jatti dekhauney?
