<p>My friend wanted to be a neurologist, but now she wants to be a scientist doing experiments about neurology (not be an actual doctor of neurology). My question is, what does she have to do to be able to do this? Does she still have to go through med school and stuff?</p>
<p>You probably mean neuroscience instead of neurology. For what she wants to do, it’s typically getting a neuroscience PhD after college.</p>
<p>She should do an undergrad major in biology, neuroscience, psychology, or speech & hearing sciences. Then apply to a graduate program in neuroscience, as the previous poster indicated.</p>
