I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the Middlebury Neuroscience program and could comment on its strengths and weaknesses. I'm looking for a program that roots itself in the soft sciences (psychology, philosophy of the mind) as opposed to the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, math based etc.) -- does Middlebury cover both of these areas or focus more on one?

bump bump bump

Courses & Requirements

It looks like you can make the focus more psych-oriented if that's where you take your electives.

I'm not really familiar with the program. I do know, however, that the neuroscience program is basically run by the bio department...the head of the neuroscience program is a biology professor and the bio coordinator is also the neuroscience coordinator. You would have to take hard science, but I'd think it would be a rare program that would require physics for neuroscience.
