Neuroscience/Cognitive Science

Hey, I'm a senior with good grades (4.0 GPA and 33 ACT). I have recently decided that the above majors are good options for me as far as college goes. However, I also play baseball and want to do that in college. In order to do this I will most likely end up going to a small liberal arts school (Sewanee-University of the South) that does not have either program but does have a design your own major. My question is this: is it reasonably possible to create such a major at a school this size? If so, how would it fair in the realm of graduate school admission? If not, is something like a psychology/biology double major adequate? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. School recommendations are also appreciated, although I live in the Southeast and would like to stay in this area for school...

Thanks!

For grad school in neuroscience, you definitely want to be heavily involved in research as an undergraduate. Ideally you'd want to go to a school with such research opportunities.

So basically such a school would not be sufficient...thats great:/ ok. thanks a lot

You can pretty much go to any school you want. There are programs at other schools and government programs that let students do research over the summer. Good luck!
