Neuroscience major: What jobs are out there?

Considering getting a BS in Neuroscience and possibly attending grad school after, what high to medium paying jobs are out there for both BS and MS? Thanks.

P.S. I live in Metro Atlanta so could I use my major to get a job at the CDC, Emory or Grady Memorial too?

As with most biological science majors, there is not much one can do with just a bachelor’s degree, and a master’s degree doesn’t help much, unlike in some other fields. Mostly, your options would be along the lines of lab tech type jobs or getting teaching certification. If you really want to advance in the field, you need a PhD.

I am in the same boat- I am looking at what jobs are out there after college. I know it is mainly Med-School, working at a University or a pharmaceutical company. They require A PhD. Personally I am hoping to do something broader or different than that.

What do you mean by a teaching certification? Where would you teach and who?
