<p>and yes they have a great neuroscience major. Everybody does great research. I'm not in neuroscience because they require a good amount of neurological research/courses so they "seem" to be great for people focusing in neuroscience.</p>

<p>Keep in mind that becoming a neurosurgeon takes years of training, and you won't specialize in neurosurgery until you've had a few years of medical school. By then you may choose to specialize in something else!</p>
<p>A neuroscience major may be perfect if that's what you really want to study, but...you need to keep in mind that there are many, many fields out there that can prepare you quite well for medical school. You'll be studying medicine for years- why not study something else for undergrad? </p>
