Never had Coffee before

For all of my life until now, I've thought that Coffee was gross, and would taste like dirt, all off of trying it once. Well, I'm going to Starbucks to study tomorrow, so I guess it would be an opportune moment. I don't want to look like an idiot, any advice. Also, I was thinking a chocolate chip frappachino, what do you think?

That doesn’t even have coffee in it haha. If you want a gradual intro to coffee, I recommend a white chocolate mocha frappucino. :)

Strawberries & creme is amazing for coffee-haters! (yay us).
My second favorite is vanilla bean frappe, and my friend claims it has a hint of coffee flavor in it, but I absolutely disagree. It tastes nothing like coffee.
Those two are the only two flavors I can tolerate, since everything else has a very strong coffee taste. Green tea frappe is good if you like green tea (it’s pretty good too).
Have fun drinking “coffee”!

@readytolearn: The Chocolate Chip Frappuccino does have some mocha in it.

Oh, well I feel dumb :stuck_out_tongue: I can’t taste any coffee personally but hey, maybe I drink it so often that I’ve grown immune.

I personally think frappuchinos are just glorified milkshakes and they’re like 1,000 calories. I think you should go with a caramel macchiato (iced or hot) or a sweetened iced coffee with milk (say exactly that). The iced coffee with milk is really almost half milk and with the sweetener it’s realy good and mild, even for a new coffee drinker.

Btw coffee is an acquired taste. First time I hated it, now I absolutely love it. Both the drinks I mentioned definitely have a coffee taste but it’s not overwhelming or overpowering in any way. I think they are a good way to introduce coffee made right lawl. Also, Starbucks coffee is a disgrace and should never be ordered. The mixed drinks and stuff are alright, but the straight coffee there is awful and not indicative of real coffee at all lol. If you ever want to try straight coffee again, go to Pete’s if there’s one near you, or just a local shop.

just get tea, works for me :)

^The fact that you are from the UK and posting about drinking tea instead of coffee makes me lol :)

Get an iced mocha, definitely a stronger coffee flavor than the double chip frap but essentially sort of tastes the same.

As a coffee shop employee, I second everyone that suggests getting a presweetened drink rather than trying to figure out the cream and sugar yourself, since everyone’s taste basically varies.

If you really do not want to have coffee, try their passion tea lemonade. They will ask if you want it sweetened, say yes! :)

Yeah, I agree that coffee is an acquired taste. I hated it in middle school but now I’m at Starbucks daily. I definitely recommend the caramel macchiato, either iced or hot! Hands down the best sbux coffee.

Personally, I like Java Chip Frappuccinos a lot. I don’t really like drinking hot coffee (too bitter for me), but I find that I love cold coffee with some extra sugar and chocolate added in. It’s not exactly healthy though. lol

Caramel macchiato is KILLER.
I prefer iced to hot haha, but both are great!
