I never sent it in. And of the 4 "big name" colleges that I applied to, only 1 of them ever contacted my counselor about it.

Do you think this means I honestly don't have a chance at the other 3? Or is this midyear thing not that big of a deal?

If it makes any difference... im one of "those" 4.0 2400 people, so the chances of me getting rejected everywhere are stastically low (given, say, Princeton's roughly 50% 2400 acceptance rate).

there’s some quote like “we rejected nearly half of perfect scorers on the SAT…”

google search and you can find it probably.

Someone at Harvard said that they expect around the same number for them.

However, given this midyear thing… Im thinking I might defy all odds and get rejected at those three which the chances are (given 50% everywhere…). 12.5%

It wouldn’t be a matter of odds. If they all have strict policies concerning the Mid-Year Report, it doesn’t matter how competitive you are; your application was incomplete and thus not reviewed. That gives you a 0% chance of acceptance at any of them. However, hopefully they don’t all have strict policies!

Why didn’t you send it and why are you talking to us now??? Drive to each school and drop off the midyear in person!! decisions come out anyday now!!!

Next week, and regardless of what happens with your applications, you should see about getting some kind of therapy. You engaged in massively self-destructive behavior here, and you know it. Maybe you’ll dodge the bullet this time, maybe you won’t. It won’t be the end of the world; I’m sure you have some other educational options. But YOU DO NOT want to live like this in the future.
