<p>Hoping someone, maybe Dean J, could give me some guidance about whether I should notify schools of a new award that I've won since submitting my application. I won a regional debate tournament, one that I also won last year. Does this warrant notifying my schools, especially considering it is just a repeat of an award already on the application?</p>
<p>I think it’s worthy of mentioning. Of course, I don’t really know, but it sounds important.</p>

<p>I don’t think this is something that will change the outcome of your application. You could have your counselor mention it in the mid-year report if you feel we need to know about it.</p>
