New Bank at Delaware

I remember hearing that the University is changing the bank in Trabant as of July 1st. Has anyone heard anything about this. I would like to sign up my D online but don't want to do it with the wrong bank.

Sorry, I am on a roll this morning with questions. I am sure there will be more to come.

I believe that most of the banks at UD were WSFS but WSFS have been bought out by PNC Bank, so they are converting to PNC. I’m almost positive about this but you still may want to check.

WSFS was not bought out, they are just no longer going to be on campus and are being replaced by PNC.

I got a mailing about this from PNC… there’s also an artice online. Go to UDel website and search for PNC bank. I’m sure you can find it.

Citizens Bank is a quality operation. The Main Street branch is about a hundred and fifty yards from Trabant.

Yes, I opened an account for my son at Citizens. They have a branch in the grocery store near my house so it’s convenient here (and we were able to open it in person at home), plus my son is in a dorm near Main Street this year, so he’s close to the branch there.
