New Cluster System

I am going to Williams next fall and have been keeping up with the Williams Record where they discuss the new housing system in some detail. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to grasp the idea. Can anyone explain to me the housing system in layman's terms?

bump....anyone?

Okay, briefly. The first year system is unchanged: first years will live together in entries of 20-25 kids, advised by two junior advisors.

In the spring of the first year, students in groups of up to 6 will select a cluster/neighborhood/house (I'm not sure what they're calling it now) that consists of several dorms located in the same area of campus. Each cluster will have a mix of all three years and will house a total of about 350-400 kids. Students will remain in their selected houses for the next three years, although they may change buildings and groups within the cluster.
