New Energy Engineering programs, not yet accredited, at ABET accredited schools in other programs?

Strange. I know when my cousin went there she had to pay more than paying in-state tuition at other Illinois universities. Maybe times have just changed.

@boneh3ad 4K of it is for OOS. Which, given that it’s a private university seemed a little odd but I think there were IL grants that would take the place of it?

It would still come in higher than our in state options, though not much higher than the flagship, pretty comparable outside of obvious travel costs.

I don’t know how IL instate pricing compares though, ours range 20k-27k for total COA. Looks like Bradley would run 32 or so, which is less than most of what we are looking at. Not hugely less but 3-6k a year saved adds up!

NPC (net price calculators) can be really helpful - it’s good that OP is taking advantage of them.

When we started looking at colleges 10 years ago, there was a ballpark general FAFSA calculator (which I had to show the guidance counselor… their advise was "apply and see what happens - argh). But it’s the college-specific NPC tha tallow you to sort through schools early. Alas, per some of the April CC posts it seems not all families run NPC before applying.
