<p>^^My understanding is that Princeton Review circulates a questionnaire (how it does so, I’m not sure) and they rely on the students at each school to return them. As far as anyone knows, there are no uniform standards as to survey size or rates of response; they vary greatly from one school to school and from one year to the next.</p>
<p>A least, with ratemyprofessor, you’re dealing with an ongoing enterprise whose integrity ostensibly the students at that particular school would themselves want to maintain. I’m not saying, the results are ready for inclusion in <em>Daedalus</em>. But, heck, the only ranking I’ve seen that comes close to that standard is the Revealed Preference ranking and, isn’t it odd how closely the two track each other? At least, this year. :)</p>
