new here..chances please?

<p>basically i've read several posts on here for the past few months and was wondering if you could tell me what my chances are for getting into johns hopkins?</p>

<p>gpa uw: 3.81
act: 32 composite, 34m, 34e, 30r, 29s
aps: 11th grade-calc bc&us history 12th grade-american gov, english lit & comp, statistics
took honors/ap classes when available at my school
public high school in nebraska
ec: was a member in a few clubs (math club, medical club, spanish club, deca)..this is by far my weakest point..i had to work 30-40 hrs a week ever since i was a sophomore..not much time for anything else..did about 100 hours of community service at local library..
essay & recs were decent..nothing amazing</p>

<p>so far i have gotten into georgia tech, university of miami, and slu..</p>

<p>I think your ACT and GPA are pretty solid---your EC's, as you said, could hurt. I'm not really in a knowledgeable position to chance, but I wish you the best of luck.</p>

<p>I'm currently a freshman at Hopkins. I'd you're in pretty comfortably. I know a lot of kids with worse credentials than you who go here.</p>

<p>There are kids with lower test scores, less APs, and the same amount of extracurriculars.</p>
