My school has dropped 100 spots this year and over 400 since 2003 =O

kewl my school is in the top 500 at least

yeah, sort of a joke. The school in my town is ranked in the top 50, but it's absolutely horrendous. The only good thing is math-they accelerate EVERYONE like 4 years ahead (no joke, they were doing freshman 1 math in 5th grade)...but they pretty much force everyone to take aps. I take a review class, and they were discussing a) the classes they were failing and b) the ap classes they were taking. If you can't pass the global regents, you shouldn't be taking AP american.

915 in '06===>1015 in '07

What a joke...

2 schools in my county in the top 50.

But my school isn't in there anywhere.

Sweet, mine moved up about 20 places or so. And yay, the school I can't stand is no longer number 5.

these rankings have no meaning whatsoever

its funny how bad these rankings are-- there are i think 8 schools in connecticut on the list and all are probably worse than my school- atleast 5 are- and my school sends about 20-25% of the class to top 25 US news-ranked schools- (about 25/400 are going to Ivies) and thats a public school-- so basically these rankings suck ryan fish browns d***
on other lists ive seen my high school ranked in the top 40 of public high schools in the US- US news is a joke when it comes to ranking highschools (ie: how does a school in florida rank 25 or so in the nation and rank like 50 in the COUNTY)

jk............

my school is 177

Bahahaha I didn't realize who wrote this until i saw ryan fish brown.

yeah, staples is a much better school than mine, but it is not even on the list.

finally my shtty school (glen a. wilson, hacienda heights) isn't on there anymore

finally got what it deserves after being ranked for a few years

Hahahah, Troy ranked #28 baby!!!

Hey, if you're struggling at your school but it's ranked #28, will colleges take taht into consideration? ;) I mean come on, #28 hahaha

i like how either everyone is celebrating that their high school is on the list or they're making fun of how crappy the rankings are (which i agree all rankings are) JUST because they're high school was not ranked very high or at all.

My school dropped a ton :(

Anyway I didn't "see" the rankings on the website.

Google has cached it though

Our school moved up to 85 :P

But these rankings are useless. I mean, they judge based on NUMBER of AP tests taken, without taking into consideration the scores...which seems pointless. You could, as a school, simply tell people to take the tests and move up in rankings that way...even though your school will have in no way "improved."

My kind of dropped, but my Principal is a ranking freak so hopefully we'll get some better accomodations ;)

My school is #5 and it is really not that good of a school

Top ranked school in the state according to the rankings, #117. Its recognized as the best school by most people here in Georgia, so it definitely fits into the Newsweek decision.

It doesn't suck ryan fish-brown's d. It sucks Gary Brown's fat d.
