New Jeopardy host preference? / Jeopardy updates

Did Ken explain this on the show? If so I missed it.

Idk. I FF through intros and interviews. But it was posted on the Jeopardy website and their social media, so not a spoiler.

The top 8 are now set. My favorites to win it all would be either Matt, Amy, or Sam. What about you?

We had 3 shows preempted last week because of the world series, and if they were shown later on my local station, they did not record (sometimes they do, sometimes the schedule is so off they don’t; we have a lot of Thursday shows preempted because of (in the past) Thursday night football). I happened to catch Friday night and do not remember what other night I saw.

So the semis and finals will be all knew people for me and I’ll never know how some ‘old friends’ did.

Right. 9. 6 x 3 equals 18 ( my impressive math skills on display). 6 remained, plus Matt, Amy, Mattea. So, who are your favorites?

Celebrity jeopardy is almost unwatchable - depending on the celebrities. I have only seen part of a couple of the shows. As Ray Romano said on Sunday, it is a bit of “baby jeopardy”

They should have called it D List Jeopardy.

When I’m faced with similar such puzzles, I usually at least consider that I might be out of touch with current pop culture, but OK.

Some of these “celebrities” would be ecstatic to graduate to the D List.

Did I hear Ken correctly last night, that tonite’s show is just an exhibition with “no betting”? What’s the point? I would have thought that they might have at least made it interesting with winner’s going to donations being made to a favorite charity, or perhaps the Red Cross for disaster relief.

Yes, he said no wagering.

For most of us, the episode will be preempted anyway.

Hoping there will be somewhere to watch!

I hope you all get to see. To clarify Ken’s comment, the game was played as normal; it’s just the end result does not matter.

The banter was actually far more enjoyable than in a regular game. Highlights include an amusing error by Ken which would normally be relegated to a blooper reel. There was also, IMO, a questionable ruling that was likely only allowed since there was nothing at stake.

Ken mentioned, which I had forgotten, that today is the anniversary of Alex’s passing. I can’t believe it’s been two years.

If Jeopardy is not on your local channel tonight due to election coverage you can go to YouTube and search “Jeopardy November 8 2022” and it is already posted.

Tonight’s show was hilarious! Ken got bleeped!

What did the person in the audience say that made Ken get bleeped out?

Definitely a looser game than usual. Interesting results .

Not sure what the audience member said but Ken seemed to give the theme of the answers (gave the last answer away) before the category had finished.
