Hello!
As I am currently prepping for the SAT and the ACT I am looking for good solid practice tests, what better than the official ones?
I know there are only 4 available (I think?) for the SAT that are authentic and 1 should be coming out soon but how many are there for the ACT? When I go through some old posts on the ACT page I see people saying there are 30+ tests for the ACT however I only see 5 real tests on many websites?
How many real ACT tests are available for practice and where can I find them?
Are there more than than the 4 SAT official tests in the blue book?
There are about 40 real ACTs you can download (somewhat sketchily, but it works) on the Crack ACT website. Keep in mind, however, that very few of them are in the new, updated format–not a big deal (other than the essay / Writing section, which has been completely changed) because the old and new ACTs are still quite similar in most respects. The ACT has become a bit tougher since the old days, though, so I wouldn’t necessarily trust the score conversions from older tests.
There are only 4 new SATs (the ones in the blue book/online), plus the practice 2015 PSAT, plus the actual 2015 PSAT, plus the May 2016 SAT, which is due to be released to those who took the test as a QAS test soon.
