Okay, so I’m going to take the SAT in January of 2017, however, I don’t know what prep books to buy. I really want a perfect 1600 and I’m willing to study. I have searched endlessly online for the best books out there, but there is so many different opinions. I know that I’m going to buy the Real SAT prep book and this other book for the essay. I need 3 books, as that’s as much as I can afford (4 if I truly need it). For my third book, I’m deciding between the Kaplan premier 2017, Barron’s 1600, and Princeton’s Review. Can anybody tell me which book would be best to try and achieve a perfect score? This question also applies for ACT prep books, as I’m taking it in December. If it’s truly needed, which other 4th book would you recommend I get? Thank you guys so much! Also, please answer this if you have similar goals, or you have already taken the ACT and or the new SAT, and have made a perfect, if not near perfect score. Please help me out as soon as possibles. My time is running out to study.
You shouldn’t study for both. Just study for whatever one you are better at (which you can assess with online practice tests). There are many other threads on college confidential for book recommendations if you want to see. I do not recommend any of three you listed except maybe PR.
