<p>Just talked to my D and was surprised to hear that the new Starbucks on the lower floor of the Ferg is scheduled to open this Monday, October 8th. Apparently, they were re-varnishing the floors earlier in the week.</p>
<p>That’s what happens when you caffeinate the construction crew. :)</p>
<p>I’m so glad that it’s now going to be on the first floor…no more climbing stairs just to get a cup of coffee! Plus, the outdoor tables will be nice to sit at.</p>
<p>I find it interesting that they dropped the “Largest Starbucks in the US” claim without so much as an apology for the miscommunication.</p>
<p>Anyway, the new Starbucks licensee location is almost ready and looks great. I wonder what will open in its former location on the main level (2nd floor) of the Ferg.</p>
