I actually tried this on my cat, Smudge, who reacted in similar fashion. I couldnāt stop laughing! Smudge is still mad at me.
D sent it to me. She begged not to try it until se comes home for thanksgiving. We have 3 kitties, so 3 tries. I will let you know how it goes!

We lost our other kitty, Smudgeās brother, about a month ago. Such a loss! Oreo was big, beautiful and the sweetest cat ever. He was my younger sonās cat - heās taking it especially hard. He was only ten so it was quite a shock.

I just tried the bread thing with my dog and I couldnāt get him to cooperate. He had a nice snack, though.
I got home from a trip yesterday afternoon and opened up my suitcase to unpack. My big Ragdoll popped a squat and started peeing in it! I grabbed him up and moved my stuff quickly, so he mainly hit the liner of the suitcase. I got out the Febreeze, etc. I was NOT happy! Heās done that beforeā¦ Heāll fix us for going away! He had a delightful overnight pet sitter, by the way!
Lol, MOfWC! Been there with our white cat. I think she is either (i) getting at us for going away or (ii) thinking that my running clothes and shoes stink of some wild beasts and places, and the smell needs to be neutralized.

Wow, MOWC, that would make me quite unhappy. But it does sound as if he has let you know how he feels about that trip of yours.

Couldnāt resist trying the cucumber thing with our cats. They had no reaction to it whatsoever. Are they defective?

The latest weapon in the war on terror:
When Belgian police asked witnesses not to tweet officersā movements during raids targeting terrorism suspects across the countryās capital, the Internet reacted in perhaps the only way it knows how: with cats.
While ostensibly frivolous, the viral memeās effect was threefold. It enforced the Twitter radio silence, buried any tweets that might harm the operations, and eased some of the tension in what has become an anxious city.
It also proved that if the Internet is provided with a vacuum, its inhabitants will fill that vacuum with cats.

To foil the would-be attackers, hilarious way Belgians are responding to the terrorism threat crisis:
