We live in Southern California and my daughter got her acceptance letter today. However, there was no word on financial aid and/or a scholarship. We can't get excited yet since we don't know if she'll be able to afford to attend.

it sucks being in Alaska when it comes to this mailing stuff. dang it.

nothing in norcal...boo

USC just emailed me with a 'delivery notification' saying that a DHL package would be arriving in the next 10 days....gulp

Just got mine today in Atlanta! Anyone know when financial aid info comes out?

cynicalowl, an email? Isn't that good news though? :D I mean it would really suck if they forewarned you of a rejection. And to send it via DHL... lol (My acceptance came via DHL, but I didn't get an email notifying me that it would be arriving.)

And people are getting white envelopes for acceptance letters now? What's the diff between red folder and white envelope?

I didn't get mine via DHL. I got a red folder within a large white envelope marked "Priority Mail"

S got letter today -Northen Cal (Bay Area). Received no scholarship letter about a month ago and did his midyear grades online in January.

I'm from Oklahoma...still waiting.

Got No scholarship letter and MYG request letter and sent them in as soon as they were released.

Hoping it's just taking a day or so extra to get here.

x3cin - are you international?

I don't know what to make of it...DHL said it just left LA...My classmate also got the email (he's applying to Marshall)

schitz, no I live in socal (san diego)

That might be why... :D

why would some people get DHL and some people not??

Oh haha, I didn't realize DHL is like a global delivery network. I've gotten college stuff from schools in CA through DHL so that thought never occurred to me.

Hmm, all I got is a letter about financial aid and what forms I should send in.

They created a financial aid account for me online.

Though, I figure this means nothing right?

Heh, I don't want to fill this out only to find out I've been rejected

so I'll just wait

anyone know what time of the day their package arrived? does DHL leave packages on the doorstep if the person isnt home? or do they leave a note and say theyr coming back later?

did all those who are accepted apply by the Dec. 10 deadline?

idont have an answer yet, and hey any internationals got accepted?

International, and my shipment is 'on hold' right now....aieeeeee
