<p>How difficult and competitive is it to get involved with the newspaper? Are they accepting of new freshman and help new students in their work for the paper? Does it matter if you have no experience on a newspaper before like in high school? Thanks.</p>

<p>No idea. Are you planning a visit? You might write the Chronicle before you go to see if you can speak to someone from the paper when you're on campus. Or they may be able to answer your questions if you email. Here's their contact info.
