I applied to both schools.
I would like to get feedback on which has the better EE program
Would I have a equal or better chance of getting a great job if i attended one or the other?
Depends on where you’re from. If you’re from NJ, you’re more likely to be admitted to NJIT. Also, NJIT is a better school.
NJIT is the better school.
CSULA has an abysmal graduation rate.
If you’re on the East coast, apply to NYIT and West Chester University, too.
If you’re on the West Coast, apply to CSU Long Beach and SDSU if you have strong stats, otherwise Domingez Hills, Fullerton, Northridge, Cal Poly Pomona, Sonoma.
Dominguez Hills and Sonoma do not have EE as a major.
The CSUs with EE are San Luis Obispo, Pomona, Chico, Fresno, Fullerton, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Northridge, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose.
Most of the less selective commuter based CSUs (probably with many part time students) have low graduation rates. Compared to Los Angeles, Dominguez Hills is worse, and Northridge is not much better.
I did check on csu mentor though that the csus I listed did have ee… anyway, op shouldn’t just list any random csu. Cpp is a perfectly good option alongside csulb, as are slo, Chico, San Diego…
