In my NMF essay I made an error. I was supposed to say the word “now” but I accidentally typed the word “not”. I submitted the application before my friend pointed out this error. Could this 1 letter significantly impact my chances of becoming a NMF? I feel like it’s a well written essay other than that one error.
I have a 3.87 UW GPA, I have played Varsity football for 3 years, I have been the captain of a basketball team for 3 years, I have been an officer in JROTC for two years, I have been in NHS two years, and I went to Boys State. I am from Alabama. I haven’t ever gotten in trouble in school or with the law.

If you already have or are scheduled to take it soon - relax.
I have already taken the SAT and I scored a 2060 so I am fine in that regard.
