I think Marion Military Academy in Marion, Alabama is the school that West Point sends its AOG Program kids. I am not sure if NMMI is still an option. I would check with th folks at NMMI and find out if they still receive AOG Program cadets. If not, I would look to Marion...

i am going to nmmi starting in august and i am really out of shape i bet i am going to die during the first 21 days right? i am overweight so i think i am going to get killed over there. what are the first 21 days like

I spoke with West Point Admissions back in April, NMMI is still a well respected AOG site… my son went to nmmi 05-06 and is a risng firstie of his 11 Service acadmey prep classmates all but one is still there and he transferred to harvard…

First 21 days are hard, but they are used to receiving out o shape RATS, but do what you can startign now… be moving

Hey guys, I am attending NMMI this summer as well. Im not worried about PT, but could you tell me how hard it is to get into West Point after graduating from NMMI through ROTC/ECP?

Also, when getting contracted with an MJC scholarship, you have to get your bachelor’s degree within three years of graduating from NMMI, but how do you do that if you get accepted into West Point?

Well, I went to NMMI and was considering going to West Point. I had decent grades, (3.56 overall GPA) and was a minority (I’m a female Indian), and was accepted to the Summer Leaders Seminar. I think the only reason they accepted me was because of NMMI. According to the admissions officer, about 40% of the people accepted to SLS were admitted to West Point.

As for the MJC scholarship… I have no clue. Sorry.
