"No Access " vs MyUCLA page shows up - My Theory?

<p>^ Haha. I thought the decisions were out and that we had to create a myUCLA account to view them. Unfortunately in my haste I did not investigate the matter fully.</p>

<p>^ Same here. I got the "likely" letter from the HSSEAS but i still get a No access thing..Any thoughts on that?</p>

<p>@ Joiya: Hmmm... That is interesting. I have heard that applicants who receive likely letters from HSSEAS are guaranteed [almost?] a place in UCLA.</p>

<p>I just remembered that when I made my login a few days ago, I didn't select UCLA Freshmen and used the UC App ID, instead I chose the "No UCLA ID" option, and I get no access.
Maybe that makes a difference?</p>

<p>I'm getting no access too, and I REALLY thought I would get into UCLA...
I got Regents at UCSD and at UCI and I just got interviewed for Regents at UC Berkeley last week...I find out about that next week...
BUT I REALLY WANT TO GET INTO UCLA!!!!!!!</p>

<p>I've read a few of these threads. I do not believe there is any correlation between NO ACCESS and your admissions decision.</p>

<p>some majors post early, that is clear.</p>

<p>Some people got answers through the back door, and that back door appears to have been closed rather quickly.</p>

<p>At this time, no correlation is my conclusion.</p>

<p>ya i think esentea pretty much proves that they just shut the whole thing down and will reopen it when they OFFICIALLY post admissions. no biggy tho, imma go enjoy me the beach.</p>

<p>Yeah I agreee. I think they just shut the whole thing down cuz so many people got access to it when they didn't want it.</p>

<p>My friend checked this morning, and she got into the page, with her major listed as well. But when I checked at lunch, I got "No Access"... and when she re-entered her page, her major wasn't there anymore.</p>

<p>2 other friends with superb stats also got "No Access."</p>

<p>^i gotletter,but no access as well.but i think it's because we selected the wrong box when we signed up. we're suppose to click "admitted students" i tihink.</p>

<p>Yeah, I think Ren the SAT'er is right---I also didn't select "admitted students", mainly because I thought that isn't really true yet. </p>

<p>But since 5pm is only 25 minutes away, I'll just sit tight and wait.</p>
