no chance left for Huntsman??

in the huntsman 2013 group on facebook, there r already 39 members
huntsman accepts 50 ish people a year
so is there NO CHANCE left for regular decision?
i feel hopeless now~~~~~

maybe some are prospective students?

yea,,, I saw on the facebook too...
Are all 39 members rele on Huntsman Program?
If it is true, I would be really depresssed....
i spent a hellota time for huntsman essay, and I am sure there will be more applicants in RD.... Can anyone confirm this?

ya... i really hope they didnt accept 39 already
im extremely interested in huntsman, its like my TOP TOP TOP choice
im depressed too =[

same for m&t, although it only has 20 memebrs

I'm pretty sure Huntsman designates current students to start that group and answer both prospective and admitted students' questions.

im pretty sure u wudnt get accepted so dont get ur hopes up -_- sorry if tht was harsh.. reality blows eh?

well~ being rejected its still different from not even being considered cuz its already full
reality is just reality~ i dont even think its even harsh lol
i actually like that u can frankly tell me that my chance is near 0

I disagree....
I dont think anyone here does not deserve to get in.
Upenn, specifically Huntsman committee will figure out who will get in.
But having almost no space available and quite a few available is DIFFERENT!
and Acceptd, what base do u have in telling us that we have to give our hopes up?

not "our" implying you as well - just SOSyz bc of his chance thread which did not convey the sense of a qualified upenn applicant.
also, i have a "base" in telling SOSyz bc he asked for my opinion, which is why he created this thread....

The oneo is correct that there are several current Huntsman students along with some of the program administrators who are members of the Huntsman 2013 Facebook group. (I'm a freshman in the program.) About 12 by my count. If you are interested in the program, you should definitely apply, especially if you have started the application. Don't be deterred by the acceptance rate, because many students who apply (and get in to) the program have similar misgivings.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I am def going to apply, its my TOP choice. so yea..
bigredsays, are u in Huntsman program currently?
if u are, how do u like it?
