NO confirmation mail YET?

Okay i'm worried now.
i still haven't recieved A THING from CMU
and I submitted all stuffs online and pretty sure all my
scores and school transcript were sent on time as well.
Is this normal or should I call them on monday right away?
Thank you

I was in the same situation, but I called the admissions office on Friday. They looked at my file, and told me that

They don't send confirmation e-mails

They sent a confirmation / extra information through postal mail to me on Thursday. Therefore, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it when the mail comes today.

If you still don't have it by Monday when the mail comes, call them right away to make sure that nothing is wrong! Never hesitate to call or e-mail any college's admissions office if you're worried about something.

hang tight, i was also in the same situation and i just got confirmation yesterday

Bah, it wasn't in the mail today. It should come Monday for me, though.

thanks guys this helps a lot:)

Carnegie Mellon's snail mail is incredibly slow. It took me four weeks to get a letter that had been mailed the day after I sent in my application.

CMU sends applicants a letter acknowledging receipt of the application. The letter includes an admissions ID number which is then used to check the status of your application materials online. The website is updated fairly quickly after something is received.
