no confirmation that my app has been received?

Hi guys : ),

I applied to 4 UCs: B , I , SD, LA.

I received a sheet in the mail confirming my 4 choices with my majors, with no asterisks next to any of my campus choices (to indicate that anything is missing).

I received emails from B and I confirming that they have my app, but nothing via email nor mail from LA or SD.

Should I be worried? Should I call? What shoudl I be receiving.

Please do reply soon if you can shed any light on this!

: ),
thanks

I applied to B, LA, SD, and D. I received the letter in the mail confirming that the app has been sent to all the colleges with the majors confirmed. I've also received a pamphlet in the mail from SD that literally says "We've Got Your Application!" on it in big bold letters. No email confirmations from B or LA, but I received the e-mail from them to apply to their alumni scholarship, so I assume they've received something lol. And from D, I checked on their website and logged in with my application ID. B, SD, and D have this; LA doesn't I don't think. You can go on their websites and check if they'ved received anything using your Application ID and date of birth. Their websites state the testscores that have been received. D has my December 2004 SAT score, but SD doesn't. Hopefully it all works out.

thanks for that long post iamhung : ) most grateful.

I've gotten stuff from UCB and just got stuff yesterday from SD. I'm waiting for UCLA, since it's really where I want to be next year!

I've gotten from ucb but not from ucla, i don't think they give out confirmations

44,000+ confirmations is a lot to give out. what i first noticed from ucla during the app process is that they either wont provide that personal feedback on stuff like receiving your apps, or theyll lag behind (like on financial aid). ... and um.. this will kind of set a precedent for the rest of your ucla experience. but thats the challenge of going to a big public school.

Budget cuts, people. Gotta be the budget cuts.

I figured this would be the case with UCLA.

I sent apps to just 4 UC's and this is the order I expected them to respond:

UCD > UCI > UCSD > UCLA

This is how it has been:

UCI > UCD > UCSD > ...still waiting on UCLA bastages.
