I applied regular decision to Stanford and was supposed to receive my email yesterday but alas I got nothing. A girl at my school is in the same boat. Is anyone else having this problem? Does this mean anything when it comes to our chances of being admitted?

call the admission office on monday! Or your school email may have classified it as spam (reason why you and your friend did not get the email)

I also did not get anything yet, but other kids in my school got their emails. I emailed them and I guess I will call monday. Should I do anything else? Will they straight-up tell my my decision over the phone?

My son recieved his rejection quickly, so maybe the delay is good luck!

Add one more to no email yet. Son was waitlisted in early round and no email anywhere in sight. And since he is 14 hours ahead (totally different time zone) there isn’t even a good time for him to call.

Same thing happened to me at first; try to search “stanford” in the search bar for your email and see if it works

@ck90211, there is no waitlist in the EA round, it is accepted, deferred, and rejected. Deferred is very different from waitlist. In any case, you probably just need to email or call when you can. Good Luck!

We got the rejection notice by Monday (Sunday night US time). System was probably hacked by someone rejected (that’s some 40K smart kids who got turned down). Anyhow, moving on.

Still have not heard anything from Stanford….anyone else?

You should contact Stanford. I’m pretty sure all first year decisions have been released.
