No Greek life

Could someone explain how the social scene at BC works with no Greek life? I have gone down to other schools where this is all there really is to do on the weekends, and wanted to know what it is like going to a school without a frat scene? Is it just like dorm parties at the beginning then off-campus or mods when you get older? I just want to make sure there is something fun to do on the weekends…

There are plenty of parties on and off campus anywhere from the mods, to the dorms, and in people’s apartments as well as off campus houses

Agree with miragemage. Lots of parties all around, as well as many scheduled events on campus (concerts, sports, etc.). Plus you have the entire city of Boston to play in!

Dear lwallace41391 : Posted the following thoughts in the BC vs. Vanderbilt thread - something to consider.

Although there are those that will disagree, my view is that Greek life creates more isolation than unity in the student body as it creates an artificial identity within the campus population. Is it more important to identify with your school or being part of the Eta-Beta-Theta-Zeta fraternity or sorority?

BC has so many activities that you will find your weekends more than filled with good times … not to mention football, hockey, basketball, and Boston itself.
